Anza Borrego Desert State Park

I had decided to go to Anza Borrego State Park as soon as I got my ticket to San Diego in January. I was hoping/planning to see wildflowers since I was going in late March but unfortunately they have had a drought this year in the southwest.

I decided to get an early start so that I could get back to my sisters and spend more time with my nephew, so I ended up leaving San Marcos around 4:30am. I loved your tribute to Borrego Springs. I grew up in that beautiful little town...many of my memories were reflected in your photographs. Thanks for a walk down memory lane.

Thanks for taking and posting some really great pictures of my home county ..... amazing isn't it? Surf, Sun, Palms, Oranges and Avacados, one of the largest cities in the USA and the busiest boarder crossing (with Tijuana) in the World), the mountains and the desert all in one county!
