The first time I have visited Kenya was some 6 months back. I went to the National Parks of Lake Nakuru and Amboselei. That Safari experience was a true eye-opener and I thought I had seen the best. I did not realize how wrong I had been until my recent visit to Masai Mara.

In one single game drive one morning alone, I saw lions having a big feast of gnu. I saw cheetahs went on a kill of a Thomson Gazelle.

I also had the privilege of being the play mate of a family of cheetahs which kept jumping on to the bonnet of our Land Rover and stared eye to eye with me just across the wind shield.

This has been a wonderful Safari. These encounters with the Big Cats told me why everyone who destined for Kenya would end up in Masai Mara. There is no better explanation than to say that Masai Mara is simple the undisputed Wildlife Kingdom of Kenya.
