The Hiroshima Memorial Museum is one of the best museums I have visited. Extremely informative and a well displayed, it gives an approachable insight into the horror that was experienced there in August 1945.

Miyajima was a beautiful island, which had a nice climb to a temple complex at the top, and also the famous 'Floating Torii'
