The recent re-visit to Kenya saw me spending most of the time in urban areas. Of the one fortnight I had spent in this East African republic, I was in the capitol city of Nairobi for 9 days and in Kisumu, the country's third largest city for two.

Nairobi is a metropolis. Downtown is small and retains much of the building built 40, 50 years ago. It is quite beautiful albeit some unwelcome nuisance coming from some street boys. ... (more)
