The five Great Lakes of the United States and Canada are home to many kinds of ships traveling from port to port on the lakes or to and from worldwide ports via the St. Lawrence Seaway. I have spent the last several years photographing these vessels as they travel through the connecting waterways between the Great Lakes, mainly at Sault Ste Marie, MI, Port Huron, MI, Sarnia, MI and the Welland Canal in Ontario.
