This is the city of Veracruz, Veracruz, the main port of my homestate. It is full of historical buildings and the first photo you see in this article, is a very interesting place to visit, it is located at the shores of the beach, that location is called "San Juan de Ulúa, it was built by Mexican people for the Spaniards that came to "conquer" Mexico. The place was built over the water, on a recife area, it was a lookout place for piracy and embarquement of ships coming from Spain so they could smuggle the treasures they were stealing from the Mexican people and take them to Spain( don't mind the sound of my words, my mother is Spanish). The city is really a reminding of how much influence they had on the building of the port. It is beautiful and very old, but also, a very nice place to visit if you really want to get out of the resorts and touristic areas. The water at the beach is almost 80°F= 27°C, lovely!
