Note the splendid churrigueresque* façade, and the neoclassical** tower. * Churrigueresque - a lavishly ornamented Spanish Baroque style (1700-1750) named after architect Jose Churriguera, a style also adapted in South America. ** Neoclassical - a revival style based primarily on Greek & some Roman orders, featuring pedimented porticos (columns).
