Two Lakes near Sapulpa Oklahoma

There are two lakes near Sapulpa Oklahoma, between Tulsa and Sapulpa Oklahoma,. I went passed it the other day on my way to Townwest and shopping area in Tulsa Okla to see my doctor. We went the back roads to missed the Expressway going into Tulsa. If you are coming from Sapulpa you'll first see Prettywater, than not far is Sahoma Lake. Link to read more about the area....

Sahoma Lake
They now have a campsite to the North of Lake Sahoma. It stays very busy. I have lived in this area all of my 38 years. If you haven't seen the Pretty Water Falls you have missed out!!

Pam, you've got to go back when during the summer and fall. The water clears up and prettywater is beatiful. I didn't spot a pic of the falls below the spillway, beautiful. I fished the lake a lot as a teen. Never just slayed the fish, but it was always a nice place to go. Greatest memory was seeing a family of racoons all in one tree watching us as we floated by fishing.

Prettywater Lake, Sapulpa, OK
My husband, Harold Dean West was born in Sapulpa, OK 7/17/1928. He left Sapulpa when he was 8. I have never been to Sapulpa. These pictures show me what he has missed. He would have loved to see these pictures. Hal passed away 1/07/2001. His grandmother was Dora Elizabeth Woods: The widow of William Ervin West 1864-1909,the widow of Russell Thomas Realford,the wife of John Thomas Lord with whom they had their son, John Willis Lord.
