In answer to your question, that was the only statue I found. However there were sacred sites that no one was allowed to go on except the chiefs. The property was surrounded with lava rocks much like a foot high fence. We saw one of these and in the center of it, it looked like a chair made out of stone. But that was all we found.

Really like pic 1, are there lots of idol statues in Cook island? (Idol statues & totem poles are SO COOL!) Your catch must've lasted a week! Also, like the resort pics & Muri beach, makes me wish I was there now. What a paradise!
