Petar State Park ( Parque Estadual Turístico do Alto Ribeira)is located 320 km south of São Paulo City in the Province of São Paulo - Brazil, between the cities of Iporanga and Apiaí. There you can find more than 240 caverns, waterfalls, trails, crystal water rivers and what remains of a fantastic Atlantic Forest, with impressive trees and fauna. With a local guide (local people is very friendly) you can visit all opened areas (which are not few) at an impressive low cost.
