Fish Creek Provincial Park in Calgary

Here is an invitation for a walk in Fish Creek Provincial Park located within southwest part of the City of Calgary. This park is over 20 kilometers long and lies in the valley of Fish Creek.

Formerly this area was occupied by the first homestead families in this region. Then, when city expanded, families donated this land to the City of Calgary for recreational use.

Now, Calgarians enjoy this land all year round for the hiking, cycling, nature walks and winter cross-country skiing. ... (more)

beautiful in the summer
i live on the ridge in parkland and i love just watching bikers going into and coming out of Fish Creek. Its really too bad that people are building ecause its poluting Fish Creek. Just last week i found a oil can down there in the river about 500 metres away from the bridge. Please keep it clean for all of the people that enjoy it.
