This webpage is dedicated to the wonderful time in Germany from August 12, 2005 - August 22, 2005. Our group of 18 Catholic Christians each experienced a little bit of what Jesus has to offer for everyone. Through the happy, sad, and frustrating times Jesus was there. He was seen through the German Teenagers who welcomed us when we first arrived in Frankfurt. Jesus' fire was passionately burning inside our hearts when we interacted with the German Teens. Many of us grew emotionally attatched to them in some way, but in the end we realized that Jesus was the one we were so attatched to because he was inside everyone. Jesus was seen in all the strangers who beeped to greet our American Flag and the ones who stopped, got out of their car, and assisted us with directions. Jesus was seen tremendously in all of the host families. Without them, Germany wouldn't have felt at home. Jesus was seen in the over 1 million people who attended the World Youth Day celebrations in Cologne. Finally, Jesus Christ was seen in Pope Benedict, the successor of Pope John Paul II. The 18 of us will never forget what we experienced for almost 2 weeks in Germany. Looking back at the pilgrimage, it seems like a dream. For most of us it is a dream come true because we met Jesus in so many different ways. I can say myself that I was transformed again. I was transformed into a person of greater faith in Christ. In Christ, I met some new and amazing people. Through Christ, I was able to bond with some pretty awesome individuals, thus bringing me closer to Jesus. Jesus gave me the courage to go after my dreams and reach for the stars, because through him ANYTHING is possible. At the same time, if it is his will, Thy Will Be Done. Iche Liebe Diche Jesus.
