Beautiful Place
I've visited St.Lucia twice & the second time discovered so much beauty that I hadn't seen the first!I met very nice people in Rodney Bay,& had a wonderful time at the 'FRIDAY NIGHT JUMP UP'!I'll be stopping through on a cruise in MARCH!Can't wait!

Fun in St. Lucia
I just returned from this beautiful island of St. Lucia where my 2 sisters and I spent 2 weeks. Although your photos are great, they do no justice to this exquisite island. I can proudly claim to have participated in St. Lucia's carnival 2003 along with my sisters. We were in a band, jumping and dancing on de road all through Castries. I found the locals to be very open to our participation, and we had the time of our lives! I recommend it to anyone who loves music and dancing.

I am a born St. Lucian, I've in the United States for 20 yrs. I meet people from all over the world, everyone that have traveled to or visited St. Lucian have good things to say about St. Lucia. However you have to realize that every where there are people you will come across some rude, disgusting, and unpleant people. To go to a country and expect everything to be perfect is unrealiztic. Thank You!

which is the best resort to stay in. I am looking for a liveley resort with bar's disco's. and a nice beach not too far from the airport if there is one. Can you recomend some guest houses with a email addres that are cheap. Tony Brown England.

Well I am born St.lucian, but I now reside in the U.S, but what I really want to point out to you, is the fact that you said your trip was horrible. The time I spent in St.lucia, was great. The people are fantastic and everyone I speak to about St.lucia thinks it's the best trip they ever had. I want to know what part of St. Lucia did you go to? Knowing St.lucians they are not that ignorant and if you had a terrible time, maybe it was just you. I mean you know others are reading this, you shouldn't write the worst, but you should get what's good out of it. Show others that it is a great place not how you explained it. Anyway thanks... St. Lucia IS a beautiful Caribbean island - perhaps one of the prettiest we've ever been to. Our recent trip to St. Lucia, however, was the most horrible vacation experience we've ever had and I used to live in the Caribbean. We met very few hospitable natives of whom you speak, in fact, most of them were rude, physically intrusive and made us to decide to leave the island an entire week early. The business owners were generally friendly but we found no decent places to eat and everywhere we went, from Castries to Soufriere, we were constantly having to avoid people trying to sell us things by jumping out into the middle of the road, give us directions by yelling from street corners, or offer to ?watch our jeep? while we tried to shop. We have very little use for these types of West Indians but I?m glad that you had a wonderful experience.
