BELGIUM-Mechelen

Mechelen, a quiet town with much historical sites to visit is my first stop in Belgium. It is halfway between Brussel and Antwerp.There are beautiful nice parks for relaxation and shopping mall with satursday flee market. With kind hospitability from my host, I stayed comfortably in this nice town.From here ,I travelled to various other towns and villages of Belgium..more to come on my next presentation. Photo's Cathedral etc
Very nice site, but some photograhps of Mechelen are wrong: the Cathedral, the Pipe Organ and the Stained-glass Window are not showing the St-Rombouts Cathedral of Mechelen. I even doubt weither these pictures are taken in another church of Mechelen. As a citizen of this town I don't recognize them. Greetings from Mechelen!

A serene place indeed!
As always, beautiful pics! You're quite lucky to have friends to stay at. The "dandruff" pic is funny while the "everlasting" pic brings-out a serious question that, no matter how sad, is quite reality-based in this day & age.
