I would like to Thank you for taking the time to come over to our lovely museum in Okains Bay but I was dissapointed to see that you only recognised the fact that it contained Maori artifacts in it. This is (as I am sure that you are aware) not the case, it contains hundreds of Coloniel antiques aswell, Hence the name 'Okains Bay Maori And Coloniel Museum'

I also noticed that the photo you have of the Banks Peninsula map was also taken at the museum in Okains Bay. I think that every one should make a visit to the okains bay maori and coloniel museum. Admission fee is Five dollars a head for adults an one dollar for children that go school. Chlidren under this age are fre. And to the beautiful beach the we have...all sand! With a large camping ground. Great for the summer!! Thank you

Maori idols are SO FABULOUS! I hope you have more pics of them. As for Christchurch, indeed it's so english with the gothic architectures though the Fri. & Sat. nite scene can be a bit nerve-wracking ala Batman's Gotham city, he, he, he.
