Perlis, the smallest state in Malaysia, is the perfect destination if you likes nature charm instead of the hustle and bustle of the city, where life is relax and the enviroment is serene, abounds with rustic rural scenes and rolling green or golden padi fields, depending on the season of growth and that of near-harvest. The state capital is Kangar while Arau, 10km away, is the Royal town. It is located between Thailand from the North and Kedah from the South. Its western coastline borders the Straits of Melaka. It measures approximately 810 sq km and has a population of more than 220,000. Although small in size, Perlis is not without its attractions, foremost among which is its serene beauty. Our 1-day trip covered some of the well known places. Well, I would say our discovery trip has not truly explore the most beauty part of Perlis, yet.
