This little deer gets its name from the sound it makes when it sends a warning. And it sends warnings quite often: predators are always looking for a meal, even a small one. Dik diks are small enough to be taken by an eagle. Even baboons will catch and eat them. This was just of many African animals wandering around the Club's Animal Orphanage.
