An interesting point, but ...
I'm not sure I agree with you, Bill. There is no question but the hundreds of tourists that go to Africa to see the wildlife do, to some degree, have an effect on them. But I doubt in the 24 hour day that one or two balloons gliding several hundred feet over an animal bother that animal's feeding or breeding habits. Besides, a major plus to African tourism to Africa and other places is the money that comes to the people. Many Africans who might be temped to get rid of the animals as nuisances (e.g., growing herds of Kenyan elephants who literally compete with growing numbers of Kenyans) now realize that those animals are more important alive than dead.

I think there's a trade-off here, and if properly managed, the visitors to Africa contribute mightily to a healthy animal population.

I think what your doing is wrong the animals in the title "running away" are running from you, you are distacting them from breeding and eating. The tourists shouldn't get close to the safari animals as they are starving themselves because of you. You should change this before the safari animals go to exstinction.
