Down there, in the Mara River below us, was a group of perhaps thirty hippos. As we soared overhead, one by one they ducked down into the water. Quite a sight, but unfortunately I'd switched to my video camera and don't have any photos of the hippos, or the elephants or gazelles or warthogs, or the vultures we passed by high up in some trees to show you. (Does it matter here that I got some great video? No, I didn't think so ...)
