La Thaïlande se situe au coeur de l'Asie du Sud-Est entre l'océan Indien et le Golfe de la Thaïlande. Ses 60 millions d'habitants habitent surtout dans la plaine fertile du centre du pays; 7 millions habitent à Bangkok.

La Thaïlande est véritablement un paradis pour les touristes. Les infrastructures touristiques sont assez bien établies et l'industrie touristique dépasse maintenant l'exportation du riz comme principale industrie du pays. Notre argent y a beaucoup de valeur, les Thais sont des gens extrêmement gentils, les paysages sont à couper le souffle, la nourriture est excellente et très saine, l'histoire et la culture Thaïlandaise sont aussi très riches. Bref, il y a de tout pour rendre un voyage inoubliable dans ce beau pays.

Les Thaïlandais sont à 90% des adeptes du bouddhisme; on retrouve plus de 30,000 temples (wats) dans tout le pays dont certains sont tout simplement somptueux. Quant à Bangkok; l'animation, les endroits à découvrir et ses habitants vous font vite oublier la chaleur et la pollution qui y règnent. Au nord, ce sont les montagnes couvertes d'épaisses forêts où habitent plusieurs tribus de différentes cultures venant des pays voisins (Birmanie,Mongolie...). Le sud est parsemé d'îles et de plages paradisiaques.

J'espère que vous apprécierez les photos de cet article et qu'elles vous feront découvrir un peu ce magnifique pays. Je m'excuse si certaines photos sont un peu floues mais elles ont été prises avec une caméra video ce qui explique la basse résolution et la mise au point déficiente dûe à l'effet de mouvement. Thailand is really a paradise for tourists. Tourism is now the biggest industry of this country, even bigger than rice. You can live with a small amount of money in Thailand, our money represents a big value. The Thais are very kind, the landscape is impressive, the food is great and healthy and Thai culture and history are rich. Everything is there for you to enjoy and have an unforgettable trip.

About 90 % of the Thais are buddhists. You will find 30000 temples (wats) in Thailand and many of them are sumptuous.In Bangkok, the animation, the people and the many places to discover will make you forget the heath and the pollution. In the mountainous North, you can discover and visit many tribes that came to Thailand from the surrounding countries. In the South, there are many beautiful islands with extraordinary beaches.

I hope that the attached pictures will make you discover and learn something about that magnificient country. I hope that you will forgive me because some of my pictures are a little out of focus.They were taken with a video camera, which explains the low resolution and the out of focus state caused by movement effects.
