I have always had a thing for waterfalls. Having seen both the Niagara and Victoria Falls, I decided to spend Christmas 2004 at Iguazu. And I wasn't disappointed.

Iguaza, at the border of Brazil and Argentina, means 'Big Water' in the local native language. It was said that years ago, when Eleanor Roosevelt visited Iguazu, she said, 'Poor Niagara'.

Although I am not one who like to make comparisons of great wonders of the world because all of them have their specific characters, I must say I like this one most.

And Iguazu was absolutely awesome. When I first set sight on it on Christmas eve, I was speechless. I took many pictures of this great falls and I know that I will take quite some time to sort them out; but I thought I would just like to share this one with all of you first.

Enjoy.
