I'm currently putting together a history of the community. It has been so much fun! Picture 29 is looking north On 75A near the Y.

Kiefer, OK
Pam, Just thought I would let you know I've lived in and around Kiefer all my life and my family's from Kiefer. There is a cement culvert that runs under the railroad tracks, at the intersection in town, that has a date on it of when it was put in. I think it says 1909 to 1916. I thought it would be another good picture for your collection. If you are sitting at the stop sign at the intersection and facing south turn left and then your facing east. Just before you pass over the railraod tracks look to your right and you can see the concrete culvert and the date is at the top. I don't know where you live but if you can't get a picture of it, ;et me know and I'll try to get one and mail it to you. Let me know your address.

Nice work the pictures are very nice, but I think you should come back to Kiefer and update your pictures alot has changed. Like the New Middle School Facility it has state of the art computer lab, and a safe room.

I have been to Kiefer Okla, Deliver new paper there for 3 months back in 1996, the downt town area is a gas station, another gas station, and eating place, foot ball field. the rest is police station, school, houses, lots of houses, new houses, old houses.

Downtown Picture
I believe Picture 29 is a picture of the downtown area.
Rather not say, December 7, 2002
do you have a photo of downtown and a photo of the most interesting home in Keifer? Specifically, the most historically significant?
Sallie Wright, November 14, 2002
