Paya Indah Wetlands, Malaysia

My husband & I stumbled upon Paya Indah Wetlands quite by accident - We had actually set out in search of Kampung Endah, which was voted as Malaysia's most beautiful village. About 30 minutes into our quest, we started seeing road signs to the wetlands, and, having heard that it was a beautiful place, we decided to "pop in". Well, we never found Kampung Endah because we spent the rest of the day there and had one of the most splendid Saturday afternoons away from the hustle & bustle of Kuala Lumpur.

Cecilia Lim, you are wonderful! Yes, I also stumbled on this and took a chance on going and staying there in Paya Indah Wetlands during the Christmas and New Year break in 2003. Paya Indah is possibly the best place in Malaysia. It is so serene and beautiful. Wonderful and thank you for taking the pictures to promote the place. It is a place that is a pity to be hidden and not given the right of place it deserves. Support Paya Indah !
