Blue Tailed Lizard
Driving through the Smoky Mountains I saw this beautiful salamander, maybe they are common in this area but I never have seen one before, so I took this picture. This is what I wrote first, for I did not know better. Thanks to Steve Axford, a regular of Worldisround, I now know it's no salamander, but a lizard (western skink). This is one of the many things for which I like Worldisround. So thanks to Wordlisround who makes this possible and special thanks to Steve!
