Somebody else thought this was a good photo, and it wound up in the Sunday travel section of our local paper. This indeed was my best shot. It gives us pause . What will become of this woman, old before her time? What's the future for the little one, especially if she's a girl? What will happen to Kathmandu and the entire nation of Nepal in the coming years?
