On 12th December 2004, with the cheap airfare we secured from Airasia, we flew from Penang to Bangkok to start our short 7 days Northern Thailand hill tribes adventure. We covered ChiangRai up to Golden Triangle and down to Chiang Mai.

3 days 2 night into thick bamboo jungle to visit Northern Thailand hill tribes - Lahu, Akha, Lisu, Yao and Karen. The hike was quite strenuous with steep climbs in between.
