Old Memories Returned!!
Ah Skagway! Great photos... I used to work on the Canadian Pacific's Princess Patricia in the 1970s, during the summers when I was a student. She was the first cruise ship on the Alaska route in the late 1960s. In fact her name spawned a whole cruise line - the Princess Cruises, which was the inspiration for the TV series "The Love Boat". Juneau...Ketchikan...Skagway... What a beautiful coast. A must see!!

Alaska by Train
Hi Paul. This train trip was just an excursion from Skagway up to White Pass. I don't think there is one train that you can take to see most of Alaska. I think your best bet is a cruise with train excursions.

Great pictures David| I was hoping to go to Alaska in August but I only had one month so I visited other parts of Canada and the U.S.A. From what I have just seen, I think that I would probably go by train. Thanks for sharing your photos.
