We visited the Melbourne Aquarium on our first day in Melbourne. It is situated on Kings Street, Queenswharf Road intersection on the Yarra River bank. It has 4 levels 2 above ground and 2 below where you are 7 meters below the level of the Yarra river. There is a total of 3 million litres of water in the various tanks. There is over 500 species and over 4,000 animals. They have a lovely selection of fish. I was able to get some great pics. I will be adding more articles on Melbounre ion the next few days.
