The Guards Association in South Australia was formed in November 1954 consequently we have recently celebrated our 50th Anniversary with a Dinner held at the Meridian Lodge in Adelaide and attended by 63 Members including the widow of a Founding Member and former President John Bowen.R.H.G. I have been President since 1991 and our present number of Members stands at 39 Guardsmen and 10 Associate Members.
