At many of our landings in Russia, we were warned to be watchful of bears. We saw bear prints, bear paths, bear droppings, even bear beds. But we never saw a live bear in Russia. However we did see this bear skull in the grass of Ittigran Island. We probably saw more bones here than at any other place. Along with this bear skull we saw many walrus bones on Ittigran, as well as whale bones.
