While walking through the village of Yandrakinot, I stopped to photograph a Chukchi woman sitting in front of her house. She smiled, went into the house, and returned with her entire family, including the dog. I made several family portraits and shared each of them with the family on my digital viewing screen. Later I noticed the family messages that are chalked on the boards behind them.
