The Alnwick Garden - A vision coming to life. The present Duchess of Northumberland has evolved this imaginative project and these Photos are of the first phase, and if you can project your perception a few short years in the future you will see that this place will become one of the most beautifull and restfull places to visit in England if not in Europe. The Gardens have developed from an earlier period walled garden, and stands within the Alnwick Castle estate. I understand that the Percy Family have lived in the castle since 1309 and this castle which has been used by filmmakers many times is also worth a visit. I certainly will be visiting each year to see this project develope. The last few Photos are of Warkworth which is a few miles from Alnwick on the Northumbrian coast.
