Burford is a small town in Oxfordshire, often referred to as the "gateway to the Cotswolds". It certainly is the first stop on many of the coach tours, but it's never as crowded as Bourton-on-the-Water or Stow-on-the-Wold, and I reckon it's nicer than both.

The church is quite staggering inside, with more variety and interest than some cathedrals.
