After visiting Shenandoah National Park, the Blue Ridge Highway took us further southward. Made curious by the signs along the way, indicating "Birthplace of Davy Crockett", we made a side-trip to Limestone where we visited the Davy Crockett museum and saw a little house, similar to the one he was born in, along a tree-lined river.
