The watercourses take the form of long narrow shallow trenches. The irrigation is such that steps have deliberately been built into the watercourse to give the added sound effect of rippling water. The water pipe work is designed such that small fountains, no more than a foot high, pepper the whole area. Cypress trees abound making the gardens relaxing.
