Kelowna is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever visited. I'm lucky enough to have family there, so can visit in the summer and become one of the tourists you speak of! And you're right, of course I have pictures of the dolphin and sails statues! Truly devastating about the wildfires of the summer of 2003, in 2004, we used sea-doos on Okanagan Lake to explore the damage, but most remarkable to see that people had already rebuilt or were in the process of rebuilding homes!

Kelowna is a jewel of a city and one in which I lived for years.. it is a big city now and with it comes the problems . But as to a tourist destination there simply is not a prettier Interior city to see. Your photographs do it great justice.

Gatzke Orchard in Oyama near Vernon
Very interesting photo album about Kelowna. With great interest I view one of your picture. This shot is from fruit stand in Oyama near Vernon (Highway No. 97). The boxes of apples came from GATZKE orchad. It is one of the best Cherries orchad in Okanagan Valley! and every summer we enjoy to pick up some excellent cherries from there :)))) Thank you for sharing your observations.
