<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> Dipsticks-not elegant but neccessary<br> picture - 10/01/05 - I fabricated a new dipstick and tube because the one that came with the Ford 302 engine (the black one) was way too long. The new dipstick assembly is made from a piece of the 5/16&#34; steel fuel tube that came with the kit. I soldered a ring at the bottom where it fits into the block. I made a mount for the tube which is soldered on and that bolts to the ignition wire loom. I shortened the stick and re-fitted it to the original handle. It&#39;s exactly the same reletive length so I will be as accurate as the orignal stick. </div></nolayer></noembed>
