Home Fabricated Glove Box Door<br> picture - 11/3/05 - I custom fabricated a glovebox door because I think the dash needs something on the passenger side to take up all the extra dash space and I needed a place to conceal the a/c and heater controls. The door panel is made from 1/8" thick aluminum and covered by 2 layers of black leather. The shiny backing plate is 0.040" aluminum held on by 6-32 brass screws gound to length and drill/tapped into the main door plate. The hinges are from McMaster-Carr part# 11205A11.
