A shot of how the tube lines up with the input to the reverser gear on the speedometer. I shortened the stock speedo cable by first cutting away the extra outer cover. Then I soldered the inner cable at the correct legnth so that when cut, it would not fray and come unravelled. After cutting I ground four flats so that it would slide into the VSS unit that holds the speedo driven gear into the tranny. I connected the cable to the speedo via the 90 deg adapter using a piece of 3/8" rubber hose and 2 hose clamps. The speedo operates perfectly smooth.
