2/09/06 - Our first snowfall of the season inspired a paint scheme. On a side note, the body filler has seen 4 months of 95 - 20 degree temperature swings and it's holding up fine. I made up my mind the car will be black with either silver or white stripes. NOTE, 1/07: Well I changed my mind. After completing all the bodywork and prep for paint. I decided on Indigo Blue and Silver stripes. The black was seriously considered (for ease of painting a non-metallic color and because I was planning on painting in a homemade plastic drop cloth paint booth). After some re-accessment of my skills and equipment, I decided against that idea and paid a local painter to shoot the car in a heated booth. Indigo was always my first choice but I was afraid I couldn't pull it off painting in the driveway.
