Bump Stop Installed On the Shaft<br> picture - The rubber part fits very tightly on the shaft. There is no way it will ever slip down. It also fits the hat perfectly and when the jam nut is run all the way down, the hat is securely locked into postion. I tested the bump stop action by compressing the shock and it hits the rubber before reaching its mechanical travel limt.
