I spent days aligning the hood and scoop. And days getting the hood to close right and the panel gaps to be a consistant 3/16". The strings confirm the panel alignment and indicate the edges of the stripes. NOTE: I was not happy with the hood scoop alignment so I cut if off and used a bolt-on scoop. Pics later in build.
