9/10/06 - Primed the hood, doors, trunk, and hood scoop with Featherfill G2. I shot it with a LVLP EVO 1.8 gun and it worked fine. I'm using a Sears 33 gallon compressor that flows 9.6 cfm and it was able to keep up with the demmand. I made a water trap out of 25 feet of tubing and a Harbor Freight large filter/trap/regulator. The EVO gun worked well at 23 psi inlet pressure measured with the air flowing. I reduced the FFG2 with 10% acetone to reduce dry overspray I was pleased with the body work, for example the added 2" under the scoop and the rolled door edges. Except for some very small pin holes, the mods are invisible. Also note the polished aluminum on the trunk lid.
