10/01/06 - It was rainy all weekend. I spent time in the garage fabricating an aluminum radiator cover plate and an aluminum splash pan for the engine bay floor in front the 4" cross member. I riveted a Cobra vehicle plaque on the cover after stenceling my number on it, CSX4373 :-) The engine floor splash pan blocks the view of the cement when looking into the bay from overhead. It has drains on the corner and a drain hole for the lower radiator hose drain cock. It's a "tray" design in that it rivets to the sides of the main tube, not to the bottom. It won't get damaged if the car bottoms out on the frame rails.
