Grinding The Mold Parting Lines Down picture - I used an angle grinder to knock down the mold parting lines on the body. Then I went over them with 40 grit paper. Here's a view with some water added to check for any remaining gellcoat in the seam. This photo is the area in front of the gas cap opening on top of the passenger rear fender.
