Dead Pedal Modification To Footbox<br> picture - 11/11/06 - Fabricated a box to extend the drivers footbox for a dead pedal. Inside, I used a cast aluminum "AC" pedal that I ground off the mounting tab. I made a heavy alumiunum 90 deg bracket that connects the AC pedal via two 5/16" stainless flat head countersunk screws. This gets through bolted to the flat piece of aluminum which strengthens the side of the fot box to prevent flexing when you lean onto the dead pedal while cornering.
