1/27/07 - Prepared the chassis to accept the body by removing the side pipes, rollbar, and splash panels. Taped anything that might get scuffed up. Placed the wood support brace back on the body. This step final assmembly step is required to make sure the body work is perfect and the doors, hood, trunk align perfectly and are fared into the body lines. I layed out the stripes with string and made reference marks on the panel edges so I could apply the stripes perfectly on the buck for painting. I marked all the shims after final alignment to insure an exact matching fit on final painted assembly.
