<noembed><nolayer><div style="position:absolute; left:0; top:-100; display:none;"> A Shot Of The Car In Sealer In The Booth<br> picture - First we applied a 2-part urethane sealer to keep the body work and gelcoat from popping through the new paint. It went on satin smooth and cured for an hour at 85 degrees before the next step, the silver base coat went on. Note the hood is loosely supported and raised up on long pins I made so the underside could be striped. The painter squatted under the hood and painted over his head. To avoid metallic paint color shift, we painted the parts in the orientation they would be on the car. </div></nolayer></noembed>
