3/15/07 - began the long and carefull task of wet sanding the clear coat. My neighbors thought I was on drugs for sanding down a perfectly shiny paint job. First I sanded with 1200 grit then switched to 2000 grit. 4/1/07 - Started buffing. I spent 16 hours wet sanding and 20 hours buffing with just the rubbing compound. The drivers side fender is wet sanded and the passenger side it wet sanded and now compounded.
