I knew the wide front tires would sling rocks against the rear fender so I made a pair of leather spats. To make them I first formed a 1/16" inch diameter steel rod to the shape of the fender. Then I glued the leather over the rod, folding it on the backside. I used velcro to hold the spat to the fender, wrapping the edge around and under the flare.
